U-Boot communication quick check

  • Verify that your RS232 cable is correctly connected
  • The bootstrap jumper must be removed as shown on these photos:
On the APF9328DevLight  On the APF9328DevFull  On the APF27Dev On the APF51Dev
  • Start the RS232 terminal on the Host side (115200 bauds 8N1)
  • Reset the board
  • U-Boot must start

The screenshot hereafter shows what you will see on your Terminal emulator during the target boot: these screenshots show the serial text console during boot on APF9328 and apf27.
